What data we collect

Order data: name, email address, phone number, delivery address, the products you order and your order history.
Payment data: payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We receive the payment status and the last four digits and brand of your card, but never your full card number.
Messages: what you send us through the contact form, email or phone, including any order number.
Marketing preferences: whether you agreed to receive our emails.
Technical data: IP address, browser type and the pages requested, kept in our hosting provider's server logs for security.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

We only share data with service providers who need it to run our shop, under contracts that protect your data:

Payment provider (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.) to process your payment;
Delivery companies (for example bpost or another carrier) to deliver your parcel: name, address, phone and email;
Hosting and email providers that host the website and send our emails;
Our accountant and the authorities where the law requires it.

Transfers outside the EU

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. When they do, we make sure there is an adequate level of protection, such as an EU adequacy decision or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice data: for the period required by Belgian accounting and tax law (currently up to 10 years);
Customer service messages: up to 3 years after our last contact;
Marketing consent: until you unsubscribe;
Server logs: up to 12 months.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. To use these rights, email info@zaikor.eu. We answer within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity.

If you think we are not handling your data properly, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

Cookies and local storage

Our website does not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. We only use your browser's local storage to remember the contents of your shopping bag and that you have seen our cookie notice. This is strictly necessary for the shop to work and does not require consent. Our payment provider may set its own necessary cookies on its payment page to prevent fraud.

If we add analytics or marketing tools in the future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

Security

The website runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to order data is limited to the people who need it, and payment details are handled by our PCI-DSS certified payment provider.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when we add a new service. The date at the top shows the latest version.
